Bob is a marketing and business executive with experience in medical device, nonprofit, and consumer packaged goods. He has deep expertise in all aspects of medical device marketing working at companies like Covidien, ev3, and Boston Scientific on strategy, product development, launch, and commercialization. Bob is especially passionate about listening to and truly understanding the customer to identify unmet needs and bring the right products and solutions to market.
While at Covidien, Bob lived in China for two years, helping establish a Product Marketing group to work with Covidien’s new Shanghai R&D center to develop and commercialize products specifically for Emerging Markets.
Bob’s passion for working with people in low-resource settings comes from work with small-scale coffee farmers in Nicaragua and Peru through Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ Fair Trade Organic coffee program and from personal travel to places like Nepal and Cambodia.
Bob is delighted to combine his medical device background, business experience, and passion for helping those in need by advising Equalize Health on the ReMotion project.
Bob has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
