Too many expecting mothers and newborns are still referred to distant facilities when they could be treated locally, contributing to unnecessary morbidity or mortality. We use the Project ECHO tele-mentoring framework to ensure health workers increase their knowledge and confidence to treat patients closer to home.

How tele-mentoring equalizes health outcomes?

  • Locally-led. Expert medical knowledge is imparted by and to nurses, midwives, physicians, and biomedical engineers practicing in local communities, improving their knowledge, attitude, and practice.
