As Engineering Lead, Dylan works to create new technology and early-stage concepts for Equalize Health's Product Development team. He brings broad experience in product R&D for health technologies and medical devices and has problem-solved around the world from the hospital ward to the high-volume manufacturer. He has contributed to technology development spanning the non-profit, academic, and industry engineering environments and enjoys contributing to a dynamic and well-rounded team. He has technical depth in point-of-care diagnostics, low-cost medical devices, and blood collection technologies. He enjoys working with his hands and is comfortable with a sketchpad, a CNC mill or a micropipette! As a designer, he strives to follow the adage: “simple is better.” He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
On the weekends, you’ll find him exploring the Cascade mountains of the Pacific Northwest by foot, ski, or bicycle. Dylan is an avid outdoor enthusiast and on rainy days, enjoys coffee and creative pursuits in his workshop.
