Njoki Wachira

ECHO Program Associate, East Africa

Njoki Wachira is a development enthusiast with a passion for impacting others through empowerment. She has valuable experience working on and improving social, health and education outcomes. Previously, she worked with the Fred Hollows Foundation as a Project Specialist and Population Services International as a Social Franchise Coordinator. Njoki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Psychology from Makerere University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Gender and Development. She's passionate about exploring new challenges and testing new innovations that impact people and help build and shape their attitudes and knowledge on how to navigate daily problems. Njoki spends her fun times hiking mountains and hills as well as taking long walks.
