As Equalize Health’s Director of Impact, Sara monitors and reports on Equalize Health’s impact to help the team and its partners ensure we are achieving intended goals and to project our effectiveness. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Before Equalize Health, Sara was a litigator at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York, where she led efforts at both the Legal Aid Society’s Community Development Program and the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Sara has also worked in the nonprofit sector both in the US and abroad. Her experience has equipped her with a wide range of skills to inform her work at Equalize Health.
Growing up in Seattle, Sara’s childhood dream was to be a mechanical engineer who could make flying cars. Now, she does the next best thing and works remotely for Equalize Health from her native city. She was drawn to Equalize Health because of its user-centered model and emphasis on constant improvement. Her favorite part of her job is communicating Equalize Health’s impact through clear and compelling data visualizations. When Sara isn’t analyzing Equalize Health’s data, she works on household projects and dances with her daughter.
