Wendy Taylor

Board Chair

Wendy Taylor is a global health executive and pioneer who has worked for the last two decades catalyzing innovation to tackle some of the world’s toughest health challenges and leveraging market-based solutions to scale for impact. Most recently, she founded and led the Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact at the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which applies innovative, business-minded approaches to accelerate the development, introduction, and scale-up of priority global health innovations.

Previously, she founded Bio Ventures for Global Health, held senior positions with Malaria No More and the Biotechnology Industry Organization, and worked in the executive and legislative branches of the US government. She serves on the North American Board of Medicines for Malaria Ventures and is as an advisor to Last Mile Health.

Wendy holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
